Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis, a member of FURIA Esports’ Counter-Strike 2 roster, commented on his team’s quarterfinal loss to Natus Vincere at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. The professional player shared his thoughts and summed up the year for the club in a post on Telegram.

“NAVI did great, we lost to them. I’m very happy for Valera (b1t) personally, and we wish him luck in the semifinal and throughout this Major — I’m rooting for him. Oh, he’s playing against broky... Well, it’ll be an interesting match,” YEKINDAR wrote, expressing respect for the opponents and interest in the upcoming semifinal pairing.

He added a broader reflection on FURIA’s campaign: despite the defeat, the season was very positive for the team. According to YEKINDAR, difficult and frustrating matches often trigger the biggest improvements. He thanked fans for their support, apologized that the team could not meet everyone’s expectations this time, and vowed that the squad will train harder and come back stronger next year.

Natus Vincere defeated FURIA 2–1 in the quarterfinals. Igor “w0nderful” Zhadanov’s NAVI advanced to the Major semifinal, where they will face FaZe Clan. FURIA finished the tournament in the 5–8 range and has been eliminated. Ongoing results and further coverage of the Major are available through regular tournament reports and summaries.
